Acceptable Use Policy

1. Proper Use of the Platform

Tastly is designed to support restaurant operations including training management, recipe storage, SOP distribution, checklists, menu rollouts, and operational documentation. You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of managing and improving restaurant operations. Specifically, you may:

• Create, store, and manage recipes, SOPs, training materials, and checklists for your restaurant(s)
• Use AI-powered features to generate content suggestions and assist with operational tasks
• Manage team members, assign training, and track completion progress
• Coordinate menu rollouts and operational changes across locations
• Use the platform in English and/or Spanish as supported

2. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to engage in any of the following activities when using the Service:

• Scraping and data extraction: Using automated tools, bots, spiders, or scrapers to extract data from the platform without express written permission
• Reverse engineering: Attempting to decompile, disassemble, reverse-engineer, or otherwise discover the source code, algorithms, or AI models underlying the Service
• Competitor intelligence misuse: Using the platform to systematically collect, store, or analyze another restaurant's proprietary data, recipes, or operational procedures without authorization
• Unauthorized access: Accessing or attempting to access accounts, data, or features that you are not authorized to use
• Reselling or redistribution: Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing access to the Service or its AI-generated outputs in bulk without written consent from Tastly
• Harmful content: Uploading or distributing content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• System interference: Introducing viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Impersonation: Misrepresenting your identity, restaurant affiliation, or role within the platform
• Circumvention: Attempting to bypass or circumvent any security measures, access controls, or usage limits implemented by Tastly

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Tastly uses artificial intelligence to assist with recipe creation, SOP drafting, training content generation, and other operational tasks. While we strive to provide helpful and accurate AI-generated suggestions, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Human review required: All AI-generated recipes, food preparation instructions, and safety procedures must be reviewed and approved by qualified kitchen staff and/or food safety professionals before implementation
• No substitute for expertise: AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional food safety training, health code compliance, or the judgment of experienced culinary professionals
• Allergen responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying allergen information, ingredient accuracy, and nutritional data in any AI-generated recipe or menu content
• Regulatory compliance: You are responsible for ensuring that all recipes, procedures, and operational practices comply with local health codes, food safety regulations, and labor laws
• No guarantee of accuracy: Tastly does not warrant that AI-generated content is free from errors, complete, or suitable for any particular use case

4. Data Accuracy and Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data you enter into the platform, including but not limited to:

• Recipe ingredients, measurements, and preparation instructions
• Allergen and dietary restriction information
• Standard operating procedures and safety protocols
• Team member information and training records
• Menu pricing and item descriptions

Tastly is not liable for any consequences resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated data entered by users of the platform.

5. Team Member and Data Privacy

If you are an account administrator who adds team members to the platform, you agree to:

• Obtain appropriate consent or authorization before adding team members to the platform
• Comply with all applicable labor and privacy laws regarding employee data
• Only grant access levels appropriate to each team member's role and responsibilities
• Promptly remove access for team members who leave your organization

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, or if you encounter content on the platform that you believe is inappropriate, infringing, or harmful, please report it to us at hello@tastlyrestaurantai.com.

7. Enforcement

Tastly reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP and to take appropriate action, including but not limited to:

• Issuing a warning
• Temporarily suspending access to the Service
• Permanently terminating your account
• Removing content that violates this policy
• Reporting illegal activity to the appropriate authorities

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you via email or through a notice on the platform. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
